On your Mac

Shelf items, clipboard history, and imported media are stored locally in Application Support/EdgeDock. Finder files are references to their original location. There is no cloud sync. Clipboard capture starts when enabled and retains up to 120 items; saved shelf items have a separate 300-item limit. Turning capture off keeps existing history; Clear Clipboard History removes its entries. Daily local library snapshots can retain cleared records. On startup, CPDock removes daily snapshots older than seven days and keeps at most seven. If the app is not opened, old snapshots remain until the next startup. Removing a history entry does not delete an original Finder file or another saved reference.

The app ignores clipboard items marked concealed, transient, or autogenerated by their source. Not every sensitive item carries a private marker; pause capture before copying information you do not want saved.

Network requests

Explicit browser-image and YouTube-link drops request media from the source host or YouTube's image servers. Those hosts receive a network request and its IP address. License activation and renewal send your key, app version, and a random installation identifier to the license service. The service stores purchase email, payment identifiers, license state, and activations. Clipboard text, imported media, file contents, and local file paths are not sent to the license service. The app and this draft website contain no product telemetry or analytics.

Payment and email

Stripe handles checkout and card details. The fulfillment service receives payment status and purchase email, and uses Resend to email your license key. Support receives whatever information you choose to send. Do not include private clipboard contents or a full license key in public reports.

Seller identity, contact address, and purchase-record retention/deletion procedures must be completed before this policy takes effect.
